Grow praire grass
..my boss has around 40 acres of it TOPS in an wide open field right next to a LITTLE creek...The little creek has a very small timber line on each side of it. Some of the BIGGEST deer I've seen in my life hang out here. One is a 14 pointer with 2 drop downs, 12 pointer, and some very nice 10's...Everyone says I'm stupid for wanting to hunt it. One of the 12's was shot last week. I don't remember what he scored, but it was niceeee. He was around 195 dressed. As far as making a bedding area I don't know how that would work out..they are gonna do/go where they want. I've learned these big bucks like hanging out in the open in the tall grass we have planted.
