I'm NOT going to speak against custom calls. I've heard plenty that I would have given my eye teeth for, but I have experienced that a good variety of calls has produced more turkeys than one particular call by itself. I have my favorites among my calls, but it doesn't matter what I like. If I don't have a call that the turkey likes, I'm not going to get him. Its as simple as that. I may break down and get one of Mr. Paul's one of these days, but, for now, I'll just use the calls that I have-- some mass produced and some that were made by hand by friends or myself.
