Our hills rifle season started on November 1. Finally notched my tag on the 18th. Evidently i too, am horrible at it. So many times, i witnessed white things waving good bye as them deer ran off. A couple of times, i came oh so close. Standing deer, but not for long, and no shot. For sure i am too loud, too fast, and stink too. The wind has to be just right, and the situation, and one has to move oh so slow. Myself, i can move slow enough for a long long time, but then i get bored, and start walking. Oops. Good bye deer.
On the 18th, instead of me stumbling into deer, they stumbled into me, whilst i was moving quiet, slow, and the wind was right; my tag was notched.
