I got the chance to put the hurtin's on momma doe this morning. I saw her coming through the woods and I got ready to shoot. Then she decided to bed down about 90 yards from me in some brush. Great. Well long story short, I waited her out and got a shot at 75 when she got up and walked around 2 hours later. 90gr BH209/250gr SST Low-Drag/STS primer out of my Optima Elite with Ron Laughlin's custom BP. I put it right in the boiler room and she didn't go far. The SST hit right where I aimed but once again, even with a heart shot, I didn't get much of a blood trail. *guess it doesn't matter when you see 'em go down*
