Back to the 7mm-08... the recoil is about the same out of my rifle as the 308 (both Savage rifles) but the rifle shooting the 7 has been showing some pretty poor accuracy. Now comes the problem, i can only find Winchester 140 7mm-08 at local stores for about $28 a box. I want to try other ammo to see if that improves accuracy but can't find much selection unless i want to pay close to $40 a box. That is my beef with the 7mm-08. Other than that, some consider it the best deer caliber around. Light rifles, light recoil, and high BC.
...... Most all rifles shoot better when properly handloaded for. Ever think about it?
