Cool encounter. I have yet to see a bobcat on the hoof. I did get pictures of one dead along the road last winter.

I have only seen one fox while hunting. He came in running around like he was trying to jump something up and then ran off.

A few years later, I was still hunting and leaning up a against a tree when I see a dog come out of the edge of a field into the woods. I knew instantly it was a coyote and I knew what I was going to do. It was at a good trot going down the hollow in front of me and heading up hill. I had to move twice about a total of 15 yards to get setup on it. I saw it was going to hit an opening in the brush one last time before going out of sight for good so I put my 30-06 on the opening. She stepped out and I knocked her down instantly. She was a good size yote and I was amazed at how clean and well kept she was. I wish I had her stuffed but I didn't.
