if you didnt clean the factory grease out of the barrel, that could be a real mess.

Do like sabotloader said, Get some JB Bore compound and give it 150-200 strokes and clean it out, dry and oil. Bore butter isnt a good lube to use to prevent rust. Get a good quality oil like montana xtreme bore oil, birchwood casey barricade or such.
