Corey.. all I will say is never give in to someones attempt to put you down. If your spelling and grammar upsets someone enough to cause them to comment to you, especially in a negative manner, I would say they have the problem not you. It's easy to say ignore someone's comments but some people don't understand that simple things said or written, can hurt others feelings deeply. As I note in your case.

You have a lot more friends then you do people that dislike your spelling or grammar. By you failing to interact with your friends, you are failing not only them, but yourself. You have a lot to offer any muzzle loading forum. Interact and be an active part of the forum. If not for your sake, then for mine.

I personally am behind you 100% as are countless others. You can grammar me anytime you like. I sure hope I spelled everything correctly. And that I used proper grammar. I'd hate to have the grammar police come after me too.
