Went on my first goose hunt yesterday morning in Texas near Rochester. LOTS of geese. Got my limit (4 Cans and 1 Speck) by 9:30am. Shot my Mossberg 930 with Kent Fasteel 3" #BB. I think I'm addicted!

That front that blew through sure did bring the honkers. I'll probably go again in December. I have to say though; the blinds we were supplied by the guide service sucked. They were little chairs you lay back in with a gillie blanket to cover you. Then we took straw from the field and covered ourselves. That was a pain in the butt and the straw kept coming off. There's got to be a better way...

Anyway, it was an AWESOME experience. I just wish I had started hunting sooner.
