The Wolf might shoot a 300gr very well. The DeepCurls or even an XTP should do fine. Recoil is noticeably more with a 300gr vs a 250gr in a carbine. You may also need a tad more powder to tighten up the group with a 300gr. Speer offers a .451 300gr UniCore soft point that is cheap to try out before investing in more expensive bullets.
In the "premium" price class, Barnes offers loose 45cal 225gr
XPBs that are designed for 45 Colt velocity and may be a great choice within your needs. They should be really mild on the shoulder, shoot pretty flat to 100 yards and still have great expansion.
