Do you have a Link to Cecil Ebps Bullet' s ? Many Thank' s!

Also, how well do Hornady Sabot' s work in the Elite,if you know?
Cecil' s site is at http://www.prbullet.com.

I' m not sure if you mean the XTP or the newer SST' s?

The Hornady XTP 240 pistol bullet is a proven deer-getter, but the Hornadys I' ve tried are much harder to load than the Dead Centers. They shoot " okay" on the Knight, but nothing spectacular.

The pure lead Dead Centers are more consistent in grain weight, easier to load, and have higher ballistic coefficients than the Hornadys-- and most everything else.

In general (very generally speaking)-- I' ve had the best results with pure lead-- meaning the heavier Powerbelt conicals (348 or 405 gr.), the heavier Buffalo SSB' s ((375 and 435), and the Dead Centers-- with the Dead Center 220 / 240 and .44 caliber 300 being the pick of the litter.

The two bull caribou taken 2 weeks ago were with 220 gr. Dead Centers, the Russian boar shot last Saturday was taken with the 300 gr. Dead Center.
