Opening day here yesterday, in central NY (area 7M), sounded like WWIII !!
All I saw was a massive doe (probably the matriarch of all the local deer) doing Mach IV through the woods up on the ridge at my sister's farm, and couldn't get a shot off in time.
But still, there's LOTS of deer and lots of time to get one!
