Sorry i didn't update sooner. last saturday i saw a NICE 8 trailing does and when i drew back i got busted. Later that morning i saw another buck that was really nice but never got a shot. The next morning he came in following more does. He was about 25 yards away quartering away. I released my arrow just for him to duck and turn.......hip shot. Backed out a couple hours and came back. I had a great blood trail for a while then it just quit. I never found him and i felt terrible for it............but it happens. I went rifle hunting this morning and called in a decent 8 with the "can" call but he never presented a shot. It looks like the rut is starting so hopefully i'll have good luck later!
