Just a note to praise this bullet. I had been having difficulty finding a powder/bullet combo that would group to my satisfaction out of my Savage 10ML-II. This one just happened to do great with the 44 gr. of Accurate powder load recommended by Savage. It grouped right at 1MOA. Of course, good range performance does not necessarily translate into satisfactory field results. This one did. I spent Mon. - Thur. hunting in SE Alabama during our 5 day special ML dates. Shot 4 times ... 3 does and a good 8 pt. All deer were hit where I aimed. None went any distance, with 2 dropping in their tracks. Full pass-through and major wound channel from 65 yards or so, out to the longest shot ... about 135 yards. If you are looking for a decent bullet and this one groups well for you, I recommend it based upon this brief experience.
