There are a lot of choices. One thing I might recommend is shouldering some different rifles to see which one feels the best to you. I might also suggest that you consider buying a used gun. If you can find one in good shape you can get a higher end gun that falls within your budget. Just make sure that bore is bright and free of pitting and that the action looks good.
