Congrats on your first animal with a bow. It' s always the toughest.
Just a word of caution. A safety tip, if you will...
i hear it, i pull back ,for about a minute, bout couldn' t hold it any longer.... i' m ready, legs and bow are just a shaking, more and more as the time passed 17 yards, walking through the myrtles, i see it.. a hog, before now i didn' t know what it was , all it did was blow....
If I read that correctly, you came to full draw and held on something but didn' t know what it was. You should never draw a bow, or aim a gun for that matter, at noises in the brush. Always positively identify your target first.
I offer this not as an insult, but just a hunter safety reminder.
