all depend what you hunt, if you hunting deer you need light weight and speed, i own a excalibur exomax for 6 years now ,and i use aluminum arrows 2216, broad head montec 100 grain with 1 1/16 inch diameter , the precision and the penetration i get with this combo is better than perfect.
