Default Bear strike or Hoyt Turbohawk

Bear strike or Hoyt Turbohawk

Hey guys I just shot a Bear strike and have to say I was extremly accurate with it with groupings at 40 yards around 8 inches. The bow was light short quiet and hardly any vibration.I was at a local archery shop and my buddy just got a 2011 Hoyt rampage so I was looking around and noticed he has a 2010 Hoyt turbohawk package deal for 543$ The bow is 32in axel to axle with the bear at 30in so real close. I drew the Hoyt bow and it feels good to me but so did the bear. My buddy picked up a 2011 Hoyt rampage shoots nice but seemed a little bulky at 34in Ax to Ax but was nice to shoot. My question here is Which bow would you choose if given the option are Bears still cheap walmart specials? Seems to me the strike did not look feel or shoot like a cheap bow. And I know hoyt are quality bows. I plan on shooting 3D this up comming year and dont want to be the only guy there shooting a bear from Gander mountain. Or are todays modern bow more of a matter of preferance? Oh and the Bear was a 60 70# bow and the TurboHawk is a 50-60. The bear I shot was set up at 64# and shot 265 with a 410grain carbon arrow. Have no clue what the turbohawk will do but the IBO is 320 on it.
