Kansas isn't what it use to be IMO - the almost unlimited non-res tags have taken a huge toll, as many guys go and take a consolation buck and in time that really reduces the total quality IMO
I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. I still see giants out there, but when I started hunting there they were more readily available than they are now. Still the only place I can hunt where I feel like I have a legitimate shot at a 160"+ deer in 5 days of hunting, but its changing for sure. Our unit went from 210 non-res tags to over 500 in 2 years. You think that won't hurt the quality? Think again.
