I' m with bareback on this. One area that I hunt in Wyoming anything over 13" is considered good, but most people I would say you have to have over 15" to be considered a " trophy" . You aren' t going to find a " trophy" if it isn' t in the area.

Look for the crock of the horns to be above the ears, that is a good buck.

Also, to me, a trophy is a great hunt with good friends, and it doesn' t hurt that speed goats are great table fare
