I cut myself last year WITH A MECHANICAL!!
]
I was stalking into my hunting area in Maryland with my stand on my back, and a nice doe slipped across the trail in front of me........I wanted the deer so reached around to my Cat Quiver strapped to my stand and grabbed an arrow. From the weird position I didn' t grab a shaft I grabbed the head. A Rocky Mt. SNYPER!
I very quickly forgot about the deer as I was bleeding pretty good myself.....one of those cuts where you KNOW that you just cut yourself but didn' t really feel it.
After all that I had to climb a tree and I kept reopening the cut the entire time. When I finally settled in my hand was a mess. I just applied direct pressure to it for about 15 minutes (After I had my bow up and an arrow nocked of course

)
The I took a paper towel and rolled it into a strip and tied it around the finger.
Those deep razor cuts are a pain because you can keep reopening them for days!
So a word of advice........remember that Snypers have exposed blade surface!
I cut myself one other time when I was a kid. 13yrs old and i dropped an arrow with a Bear Razorhead on it. I made the mistake of trying to CATCH the arrow rather than just let it fall. Ouch.
