I have better luck with 80 or 90 grains of loose powder and about a 250 grain hollowpoint bullet. Get some different measurements of powder and a few different bullets and see which one shoots best. Another vote for visiting the blackpowder forum. Lots of great guys there that helped me a lot last year.
