clothing layers
I know many of you are very experienced hunters and really know your stuff, so I’d appreciate some advice about layering clothes. I have some camo base layers I bought, which are very thin synthetic material that is supposed to wick away moisture (sweat, etc.). I also have thermal underwear I wear when it’s cold. I usually wear the base layers under my camo when it’s warm (some of them are silvermax, which is supposed to reduce sweat-associated bacterial growth and thus, detectable human odor). My question is this: which is best to wear against my skin when it’s cold? Is it best to have the thin base layer to wick away any sweat or is it bets to have the thermals next to my skin? Should I wear both if it’s cold and, if so, which do you think is best next to my skin?
Thanks for any help.
