I went out both morning & evening for the opener. Wish it' d been a little cooler, and alot less windy. I didn' t see any deer. But it was nice getting in the stand to enjoy mother nature. A woodpecker was giving me hell in the tree above my head! My brother was in a ground blind with his daughter about 150yds from my stand. His daughter was light grunting, and lightly rattling to keep herself entertained. She brought in a grunting doe! My brother couldn' t make the shot, but he found it cool she called in the doe.
