I had a nice encounter w/ a very respectable six pt last night w/ my son. Came in directly from downwind and it was blowing but never winded us . He looped around us nose to the ground got as close as 30yds but a touch thick for a shot where he was . He headed for my trail cam which is over looking a scrape. I knew i got pics of him so retrieved cam after dark. It had been out 4 days I had about 40 pics 3 diff bucks the six visited that scrape yesterday at 8.05 am then again at 1.00 pm and yet again when we seen him at 5.30pm Id say hes a bit interested in the area. Would be a great first buck for my son so will give it a whirl tonight.
