I had a Timney trigger put on my Ruger M77 almost 20 years ago and the gun was never safe after that. Once it fired while taking the safety off, another time it fired when I closed the bolt. Other times the button wouldn't stay back when you closed the bolt so it wasn't ****ed. I had 4 gunsmiths look at the gun including the guy who put the trigger on in the first place. Nobody fixed it. I finally sold it with the original trigger to a gun shop and I told them this story. I hope that gun was made safe somehow.
