RE: GPS Units
My partners and I use Magellan 315' s. None of us are displeased in any way.
I have Waypoints marked then I have places to start from. I put my face into the wind and keep it there all day long. Then when I need to go back to camp, my GPS takes me there straight away.
Most GPS units will do the same. I am not into the fancy mapping systems, temperature reports and other junk available on more advanced Magellan' s or other makes. Mine is used strictly for wilderness navigation and the 315 more than meets my needs.
