Won't steer too far from the OP but those of you with 6.5 x .284 can I ask, are these in long action rifles or short. I have a short action Remington .260 that is a prime candidate but there are two things I'd want to know. Will the SA handle the longer 140 gr. VLD type bullets and is there enough fps gain to warrant the cost of rechamber ?
