I haven't had a whole lot of time or money (mostly money) to play around with ammunition since I bought my Mossberg ATR in August, but so far my gun has liked Winchester X in 150 grain and it has REALLY liked the Ballistic Silvertips in 168 grain and the federal vital shocks in 165 grain (uses a barnes triple expander). At long ranges, the ballistics for the heavier loads were just like they said on the box--2" high at 100 yards and a drop of 24" at 300. I'm not sure if it likes the weight better, or if it's just the better quality cartridge. I'm curious about those hornady superformance because they're a heck of a lot cheaper than the other premium loads and they still have the slightly heavier bullet.
