SecondChance yes Ive heard of the 460 and its all good from what i hear, did fire the 500 at dusk once, was a site to be hold.. Ive been thinking of adding a 460 to keep my 500 company during its off season. just gotta convince the wife to go along with it, as she will not shoot these big revolvers, i have some lite loads i told her that she would be fine with, but still no luck getting her to fire it..
If she won't fire the bigger handcannons, fine. Take her along to the range when you are shooting. Just make sure she stands behind you and not off to your side where she will get hit with the muzzle blast and equip her with both ear plugs AND muffs when she is around these beasts, ( as well as yourself for that matter!!) and then show her the light loads don't kick nor have the muzzle blast the full house loads do. She then may try it seeing the difference. That or start her out with lesser serious calibers, .357, .44 Special etc.. and let her work up from there. THEN go after the 460!!
