RE: Is DU all that it is cracked up to be?
I too am a member of DU. What I would like to know is how is it that the people with money win so much at the raffles at the DU banquets. Could that they spend a lot of money buying raffle tickets and spots on the board for raffles? How can you fix a raffle when no one knows what numbers are going to be picked out of a hat? I am a member of Delta and Waterfowl USA and DU. I think all are good worthy organizations. When some people criticize the places that DU spends their funds they should realize that most goes to preserve habitat where ducks are hatched. I don' t see anything wrong with that. Also that is another reason to join so that everyone from north to south will always have a chance to watch waterfowl do their thing each year.
