No question they kill some toads there, but it seems they are publicized to the hilt too. What percentage of these LE tag holders actually kill a, say 350(I will say that is BIG) bull. I bet its surprisingly low.
I don't have any stats at hand, but think about it, UT produces more 400" bulls every year than any other state, UT has a much smaller elk population than other classic elk states, such as MT, ID, CO...
so more 400+, with way less elk, I think CO has around 300k elk, MT around 180k, UT I think has around 16-25k elk...
Does CO or MT produce a 400" every year? even 1?
