My Favorite Elite 45 loads with a Lehigh conversion and Win209s or FPJ and CCI209Ms.
Target load but probably fine for deer. 180gr XTP or GoldDot with 90gr BH209 and MMP tan. The 200gr XTP is nearly as good on paper and might be better on game. All the above are very affordable and mild recoil too.
When on sale the Hornady 200gr SSTs are just under $10 for 20 and shoot great with 100gr in the MMP tan and great with 110gr in the Harvester CR. They REALLY NEED to offer these in bulk.
I havent found a good 45x35 option yet BUT the 9mm XTP 147gr BTHP doesnt shoot too bad with a MMP blue and 60-80grs. I shot these into media and it retained 123grs at well over 1900fps.
A recoil sensitive but flat shooting option ive been playing with is the loose Barnes 40-155gr TAC-XP and MMP tan. They are $32 for 40 and OAL is close to a 200gr SST. Even if i blow off all of the copper petals, the base is 140grs and penetrates deep. Using just 100gr of BH209 this load is moving in the 2300fps range and ive shot them with upto 120grs accurately out to 150 yards......I cant say its a good choice for deer but i would like to see someday, it nearly vaporized a full water jug though. :P
My favorite conical on paper but its expensive is the PR Ultimate tipped 360gr with a felt wad and 80grs. 90grs wasnt bad either but recoil is noticeable.

I got a good deal on some 45-300gr PB Plats and they shot extremely well also with 100grs of BH209. I could sell about 20 of them but with shipping they would be nearly $1 each.
Most of the other bulk hunting options are going to be in the $40+ per 50 bullet range and IMO the Lehigh 185gr DOA is worth the $40 including shipping. Its plain nasty in mine with 110grs in either the MMP tan or Harvester CR, i dont have much luck with the blue smooths. Some guys are driving these harder with better success.
Barnes is now offering some ML bullets in bulk (no sabots) but IMO the savings is minimal and no better than the Lehighs.
