Default RE: *** A Direct Comparison of CAMO !! (PICTURES)***

I agree with a few others, IMO the Skyline is HANDSDOWN the winner in this test. Hell its even hard to make out that there is even a suit in the picture to begin with. I also agree that this test is more for early season bowhunters and spring turkey chasers. Put the suits 20' up in trees in December with only limbs and trunks for cover and see what happens. The Skyline and ASAT type camos only get better (as well as the NatGear, that is FINE camo as well under such conditions!).

The key is non-movement and putting stands in trees other than " powerline straight poles" to offer better concealment and breakup. No question about it, the " big 2" (Mossy Oak & Realtree) are effective under selected conditions, but just standing out in the open or at a distance of more than 40-50yds they simply turn black or " blob up" . But then again, sit at the base of a tree in April with Skyline and see how the lighter colors really stand out vs the darker " blob camos" under such conditions. Thats why different colors and types of clothes are a must for the allseason hunter. The only true " all season and locations" camo available is a Ghilly suit, but how wants to wear one of them while early season bowhunting or chasing gobblers over the Ozarks in May?

GREAT test btw!!!
