Exactly! Its not approved due to it having a #11 nipple. Yet the person i talked to said they had worked with the 209 mag spark adapter with a sidelock and it worked good with BH209. If you go to www.maxmuzzleloader.com he toured the factory and got print outs of pressure readings and shows how much of a spike Pyrodex pellets have over bh209.
