Remember my recently acquired Pedersoli Frontier?
Well, after doing a little e-mailing back and forth with Richard Beauchamp of
BEAUCHAMP & SON INC., DBA Flintlock's Etc. in RICHMOND, MA. (a Pedersoli parts depot), I learned that the gun can be converted to flintlock by merely replacing the drum and nipple with a $4 touch hole liner, and replacing the lock with a Pedersoli flintlock. But the darn lock is $190.
Then I went browsing on the Track of the Wolf website and find they sell an L&R lock specifically made for this gun for $135. In response to my inquiry to TotW, they said this is one of their most popular locks used by custom builders for a wide variety of flintlocks.
What's a guy to do?
