I cleaned it with the TC no 13 bore clean I got on the way in to town yesterday. She cleaned up great. The bore looked as good as she did new.
Last time I shot it I fired it cleaned it spotless and oiled, then a week later when I went out hunting I loaded it after a few clean patches to remove oil. So it was clean when stored or it would have been cleaned.
No rust it looked perfect, I am guessing the brown/gold color was copper fouling and such. I was worried cause there seemed to be a build of of rough rust but when I ran the brass brush through it it came out and was just fouled powder and fouling.
Wont be left loaded again, glad it was no worst then out of the box. It did fire fine, I had two shots 1/2 from each other and the third was off on it's own but that was my goof with the lead sled.
I think part of it is I use 777 and not true black powder.
