It takes about a day for camp dry to absorb into most materials.
It is a silicone base and it's not made to be put on a couple of minutes before you are ready to go hunting.

I use a regular boot dressing on my hunting shoes not a spray on like Camp Dry. Most Bees Wax type dressings works better in my opinion on shoes that are worn in rain and snow.

problem with snow-seal it does not let boot breath.silicone does. it does not fill the pores of boot.
snow seal which does seal pores, so less water can enter.but can keep your feet POSSIBLY more damp, dont know , never tested that out.
snow-seal does soften your boot also .
