I am in the same boat. My son's first buck was a 135" 9 point, bigger than any of mine. Taxidermist said it would be a year and it is hard to not call and check on it but I don't wanna hack him off. Some of my buddies got theirs back in about 4 months but I think my quality will be better years from now.
