well, here's the story...
about 45 minutes after getting into the stand i noticed a doe and fawn only 20 yards away eating acorns (that oak was dropping acorns constantly!). the minute they got out of sight i noticed this guy coming from a different direction. i knew he was going to give me a shot. i really debated a lot about whether to shoot him or not. eventually, my trigger finger made the decision for me
. i'm pretty much tagged out in mn, i'm going to see if a buddy will bring me to wisconsin with him. i'll get him scored for the contest tomorrow.
