Default A real eye opener today--

Got out to the range today to sight in the new 06 and maybe tighten up the groups from the .204. There was a young guy and his younger cousin, at the opposite end of the 100 yard range. He was a friendly type and asked me if I could look at his gun and figure out why they were not hitting the target.--This was my first look at one of the combo guns sets, a Remington 770 with a bottom of the line Bushnell on it. I wasn't aware Remington even made anything like this and can see why you all have advised against buying them. I tried to at least bore sight it for them because the crosshairs were way right and high, but the crosshairs wouldn't stay set, just kept snapping back. I told them I was sorry, but couldn't help them with it. He had just gotten it back from Remington, had to be sent in to have the jammed bolt repaired. What a waste of money. All of you advising against buying these combination guns were absolutely right and I hope the new members listen----
