David may be the nicest guy one could ever meet.......but a HUNTER he is not. He's a grower (of deer) and a SHOOTER (only with a with a gun). Give him a bow (or a gun without a guide) and NO deer will be harvested on his show if he is the sole hunter on another piece of land.
If memory serves, Morris was a writer for North American Whitetail, and I read one fine book on trophy whitetail hunting written by him. He'd likely have at least decent hunting skills to do that kind of work.
