i have a simmons pro sport 3-9x40 on my 308, when i mounted it and started to sight it in i noticed that on the right my adjustments said L-R, ok thats good then i removed my top caps they said L-R. i called simmons and they told me that the wrong adjustment nob was put in but that it would still work as long as i figured which was up and down. L was up R was down and i got it set in just a few shots, its been good now for 2 yrs so i guess it don't matter. i do have red dot scope on my crossbow that moving the click toward r will move impact left, i called horton they said that those scopes are made so that you move in the direction of your hit to change it. if you hit left move toward L then it will bring it to the right.
