GM sent me a big box of bullets to try out. Awesome because he threw in some 200gr .429"? hornady xtp's with the green crush rib sabots. I wanted to try them out with a magnum load of T7 pellets and so i cleaned the Accura and headed to the 100 yard range. They loaded very easily, almost like a powerbelt and the accuracy was outstanding! I did not swab nor did i allow the barrel to cool down.
Next i tried the 300gr socom .45 in the yellow crush rib sabot. The first half went down but the rest of the bullet actually caused me to push so hard that i started to drool

First 2 shots were good but that 3rd shot i think was due to the barrel heat. Those 300's really warmed it up fast.
.45cal 260gr PT Harvester sabot, Not sure which sabot these are but they were smooth. Accuracy was horrible though. Thats a dead give away that i need a different sabot in the Accura.

See, i told you accuracy was bad LOL.
Im really impressed though with the accuracy of that tiny 200 xtp with 150gr pellets. This evening i may try 3 more when its cool out and see what they can really do.
Thanks again GM

I appreciate the bullets. I will try those 300gr .500" barnes out later on after i clean the barrel.
