Make sure all mounting screws are tight. If you are shooting with a quiver on, check the foam in the hood, if applicable.

With the season so close and your reluctance to change things, limb savers sound like your best bet at this point. Plus, they will be very easy to try with the split limbs, and return if they don' t do what you want.

Get a set, slap them on as recommended (they screw together instead of glue on, at least they did 3 years ago) and see what happens. You have nothing to lose.
