If I do stick with the red dot, what is a good range to zero in at? 20 yds, 30 yds?

Thanks!
I have a Tru-Glo three dot sight. Its awesome,a dot for 20,30,and 40 yds all set up. sight in the 20 and your ready to go huntin.
