I am really toying with the thought of ordering some of those Lehigh 458/220's but I just can not figure out why....
I keep thinking in my mind if I were going to hunt with a 200 grain bullet I would just get a 45 and use the 40/200 - but then again if you have a 1/28 twist fifity and want to shoot a 200 class bullet for Whitetail - that certainly might be the way to go.
When I was shooting the other day I do not think I would have any problem getting them to 2200 fps with a 120 grain load...
I would much rather use a 45cal Elite and a 200grn Lehigh. I wanted to do something different this year so i'm using the 52cal. I will send you a few of those 220grn to shoot some squirrels with. I dont see a need for you with these bullets either. But, i bet this .458 220grn bullet would drop one of those cows you seen.
