I keep a log and I note down most all of those things but I suggest you write it in a way so that some day when you can't get out anymore you can read your old entries and relive it. If I'm fortunate enough to take an animal the entry will be several pages long and I try to stick a picture in there.
yes, it also give me something to do while I am on stand as far as conditions and sightings. I mean what else you got to do while sitting in the stand, right a book. Mine are usually a paragraph of 1/4 to 1/2 page each hunt. and yes they really do help.
