The problem with drop away rests is they are another mechanical device to go wrong when needed. There are few problems with the prong rest you now use unless dropped or it gets hung up when pulling your bow up to the stand. And often a small adjustment will get you back to the hunt. If the cable or device used to lift the rest malfunctions, you are without a rest. Your call, but I spend to much time scouting and preparing for hunting season. I'm not going to have all my homework go up in smoke because of a mechanical failure that could have been prevented.
