Marlin, Muck makes boots for different activities including farming. The ones I have are for hunting and are just like wearing shoes in the woods, They have excellant ankle support and come off with ease. Another reason I like them is the woody elites, have a neoprene upper that is water proof but very flexible. I can actually roll them down to my ankle. That way when i put my pants on then my boots all I have to do is roll the upper over my pants and there is no bulge where your pants curled up inside when sliding on.
Big benefit when you have bigger calves and the boots are snug to your calves to prevent heat loss on those cold days.
I would recomend trying both on and if you choose the Lacroose boots, it would highly suprise me.
